Suitable for data transfer, not for charging.

I gave 5 stars because that's exactly what I need it for. I was looking for an adapter to transfer data to a Samsung Tab-A tablet via a memory card reader with a USB-C connector (male). This was my third adapter from Revain and the previous two were only good for charging not data transfer. However, this works like a charm for this purpose. For some reason I can't charge my tablet with it, but that wasn't on my to-do list.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Advertised transfer speeds are a stretch.

480 Mbit/s? I have no idea how they got this number. I've achieved peak transfer speeds of 15Mbps from PC to 64GB Class 10 UHS-3 SDXC cards on USB 2.0. So it took quite a long time to transfer the 15 gigabyte .wma files to the card for use in our phones and tablets. It's a handy little thing and it works; Just don't expect lightning speed from it. Be sure; Using the USB 3.0 interface transfers data faster, but far from the advertised speeds.

Pros
  • 1 year trial version
Cons
  • Useless functions

My bricked Nexus 9 fits computer cable adapters

Was looking for an OTG/charging adapter for my Nexus 9 (everything else in my house is USB-C). The first didn't work. It didn't charge my Nexus 9 and didn't provide OTG functionality. I thought maybe it was just defective and asked for a new one. Meanwhile, I accidentally left it in my Nexus 9 overnight and woke up completely dead. Plugged it in to see if it would charge. Nothing. Left my Nexus 9 on for a few days. Nothing. The second didn't seem to do anything either. Overall very disappointed

This little thing is well built!

I actually bought this while trying to use a multihub on my tablet, but I didn't realize the max current is 2.4 amps. Actually, it's in the description several times and I didn't notice it. For that reason I can't complain. It works great with other multis I have that don't require 60w. I can quickly transfer files and watch movies; I'm happy. It's tiny, like I said, but seems well made. It is housed in an aluminum case. Many of these things on the market can be bought multiple times for the…

NOT OTG, does not match the description.

Description does not match the product shown. I thought I ordered a USB Micro B Male to USB Type C Female for on the go. What is described is an On-The-Go USB Micro-B Female to USB Type-C Male Adapter. What is pictured and what I received is a USB Type-C Female to USB Micro-B Male which does NOT support On The Go. So even though it fits in my phone and I can connect a USB-C camera to it, the camera never gets power and the phone never sees it. To prove it to myself, I bought a USB Micro-B to…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Not sure

I don't work in an office, at home or even outside of this country. In the field I needed an adapter to transfer files between an SDXX card and a flash drive, this one did the job. Many, if not most, card readers don't have USB or SD ports. I finally found one or two card readers that can do that. The same reader in two specialized configurations. I used to have to move files from an SD card to a folder on my phone (USB C) or tablet (Micro USB) and then move them back to the flash drive. very…
