I don't work in an office, at home or even outside of this country. In the field I needed an adapter to transfer files between an SDXX card and a flash drive, this one did the job. Many, if not most, card readers don't have USB or SD ports. I finally found one or two card readers that can do that. The same reader in two specialized configurations. I used to have to move files from an SD card to a folder on my phone (USB C) or tablet (Micro USB) and then move them back to the flash drive. very complex process. I've found that many C-female to micro-male adapters don't work well for data transfer. I tried a few until I found this one. There may be more, but Revain could be a real death march trying to find him. So I crossed my fingers and jumped on this one. I'm not disappointed. works very well as advertised. I wish it was in a discounted five pack.
