Love this fan/air purifier. I haven't plugged it in yet to be able to view air quality on my phone, but it's next on my agenda. However, I am amazed at how it cools my bedroom and the air is now so dust free and breathable. Here are two issues (confirmed by Dyson phone support). 1) If the device is in automatic mode and is near a window where direct sunlight is normal, the device will turn on when heated by sunlight. It breaks down when the temperature reaches equilibrium. This means that the temperature change is more important than the air quality parameter.
