Light weight: clamps

I used them to connect the solar panel to a 6V battery for a bird feeder. They worked well but the metal bends too easily for my liking. Please note that I didn't have a break but then I was very careful with them because they bent when connecting the panel. If you connect and forget, that's okay.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • there are nuances

waste of money! Just go to TE or AMP!

Should be zero stars. This cheap fake doesn't hold on to mating connectors. Connectors of this type are standardized like screws and nuts, so using different manufacturers is not a problem. Tyco Electronics (TE)/AMP is the platinum standard for this class of connector. So go to TE and don't waste your money.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Good choice for the price, thin wall connector design

Because the connectors look good, it's a good choice for the price. The materials used in its manufacture are thin and can stretch under any pressure, resulting in loss of binding. The material, mostly aluminum, would benefit from an alloy that increases the hardness of the material and makes it less ductile.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some problems

They're not the strongest but they work

The connectors had two issues that worked for me but probably weren't the best in other situations. The top auxiliary connector is extremely flexible, so if used in a situation where there is movement, it most likely won't last very long before breaking. The main connector that connects to the main power supply is a little loose, so it may slip off in a vibration situation. I used it in a situation where there is almost no vibration and movement on the back, so it worked for me, but next time I

Great for the price. Don't expect anything special.

Good quality. Keep in mind that you're paying $6 for a set of terminals that would normally cost $20 elsewhere. The thickness and rigidity of the metal is adequate if not abused. If crimped correctly, the wires will hold normally. Have realistic expectations for what you are buying. These are just standard binding posts and probably not as strong as those that cost $8 for a small package.

Pros
  • Blue wire connector: AWG 16-14; Wire range: 1.5-2.5mm2; Rated current: 15A; Maximum current: 27A.
Cons
  • Slightly torn

The photos accompanying the product are misleading.

I was looking for a quick connector to adapt the 12v battery in the trimmer to a battery tender. From the pictures it looked like it might work. but no. They are more than tiny. Presumably the yellow coded connector was for 10-12 AWG wire, but I doubt the connector could withstand the stress that 12 gauge wire can carry. The connector itself was about half the size of the tab on test (about 1/8 inch, while the battery tab is a good 1/4 inch). I will search further.

Pros
  • Crimp connector: male/female, 1-2 pole connectors for flat cable, male connector and female connector.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

They are not the strongest but will work

The connectors had two issues which were fine for me but probably not the best in other situations. The top accessory port is extremely flexible. So if used in a situation where there is movement, it probably won't last long before breaking. The main connector that connects to the main source dangles a bit so it could slip off in a vibrating situation. I've used it in a situation where there's almost no vibration and no movement on the piggyback side, so it worked for me, but next time I'll…

Pros
  • Red Wire Connector: AWG 22-16; Wire range: 0.5-1.5mm2; Rated current: 10A; Maximum current: 19A.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
