Exactly what I wanted and it was neatly packaged (I have nosy neighbors) and shipped quickly! I wanted a very clean keg with no manufacturing residue or bad smells etc. The cap was very sturdy with a good clip and handle that gave me the option of securing it with a zip tie or a small travel padlock. (Not included but definitely worth the investment): Castor for 55 gallon kegs. I can't wait to start my projects! If I need more kegs I will definitely use the services of this company again.

Not sure, maybe it's a typo, but the drum says it's only rated for 220.5 lbs. The included instructions are a bit esoteric. Perhaps these are some ratings for transportation or the maximum weight of the floor. Anyhow, it remains to be seen if it can actually hold 55 gallons of water (which equals 458 pounds) over an extended period of time. Luckily mine isn't moving and will be on a pallet and in the shade. That's a barrel, that's 55 gallons. I will update when it gets better. ETA: Strange…

Taunted on arrival the metal ring was torn from the hinge and chipped was that the metal ring began to rust in less than a week. The keg is serviceable but I am very disappointed that the seller did not send it protected and somehow damaged it in transit. At the moment I would like to replace the ring but I don't know if this is possible and the barrel is too big to try to return. I found this with a ring that had fallen off my front door.
