Wow, I was pleasantly surprised by these sunglasses! At first it seemed risky to buy glasses with rounded corners when I've never worn them and when I'm a little vain about what kind of sunglasses I wear. And then I had to try to find out if they fit. I had eagle eyes many years ago. Now that I needed new sunglasses (the old one was scratched), I wanted to buy another pair of Eagle Eyes. Although I don't wear glasses when driving, I love the extra protection the Fit On offers. Officially blind in my left eye and my right macula since birth, my eye has always been sensitive to sunlight. The addition above helps a lot. I'm so lucky to have her. You make everything very clear.

I have a small face so I bought a small one. They are big enough to fit over my glasses. I have macular degeneration and have been told that most people with this condition prefer amber lenses to gray ones. Having tried on many sunglasses in the $250-$15 price range I would say these are the best of them all. Images are sharp and clear and you can see without being too dark. I love them and will continue to buy them when I need a new pair.

If you're looking for a pair of sunglasses that block all of the unfiltered light from entering your eyes, then these might be a little disappointing. When the sun is in front of you, the glasses are perfect. Excellent view, excellent contrast. Great comfort. However, when the sun is behind you, light enters from the sides (earbuds) and edge of the front cover. This light then hits the inner glass and is reflected back into the eye. Macular degeneration is not just a loss of vision. I still have partial central vision, although it's sliding towards the center despite the retinal injections. But there are other symptoms that affect vision associated with MD. Extreme sensitivity to sunlight and darkness of vision, as in photography when there is not enough light to tell who is in the picture. These glasses help, not heal. I love these glasses. I was concerned about how wrong the color would be in these glasses. I was afraid that the lens would turn too yellow. I would say the color of the lens is more coppery and quite close to natural color but it doesn't amplify like a gray lens. I was skeptical, but it's true, when I look through these glasses, everything becomes clearer. A bit like going from a regular TV to HD. The first pair of glasses broke after 4 years of wear. I've tried other polarized shades but these are the best. I have cataracts and a macular problem. They are smaller than my first pair but actually fit more comfortably over my glasses.
