amazing fitment works great but the earbud doesn't stay securely in my ear without a cap. That's the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars.

I bought this specifically to use with the Midland GXT1000. The handheld speaker/microphone fits, but when the button on the microphone is pressed, nothing happens. It doesn't let me talk about it.

They were easy to use right out of the box. The audio transmission was clear. When you use them for off-piste skiing, the Exocet becomes a staple of our protective gear.

Bought for my Midland GXT1000 but not compatible even though it said it was in the description. When plugged in it locks the radio in transmit mode and pressing the button does not turn it off as if it would lock the transmit button. You cannot hear anyone while it is connected to the network. Return and probably buy a $40 Midland instead.

I'm giving 5 stars because it's just a question of works or not. How good can it be? How bad can it be and still work? Either 1 star or 5 stars, Amirite. It fits and works with the walkie talkie I was planning to use it with, the Midland X-Talker in the photo. Baofeng, and that doesn't fit. The contacts on this radio are a little further apart.

Despite a very bad review, I decided to buy it for my Midland GTX1000 radios. I would give this speaker mic 5 stars but it has one big problem and one small quirk. 1) The output sound level or decibels is too low for this speaker microphone. Even with almost no ambient noise, you'll need to bring it to your ear to hear anything clearly.
