Motorola Headphones: Headsets and Microphones

Very well made product, good sound quality. The only reason I gave it a 3 for comfort is because of this. I work an 8 hour shift most days and working 8 hours a day is a bit uncomfortable.

Pros
  • CB and Radio Equipment
Cons
  • -

Not suitable for everyday use.

Everything was fine for the first month. Then I started hearing radio conversations out of my vest instead of through my earpiece. When I looked at the device, it appeared to be loose and not properly secured. Rather spend a little more money for a higher quality headphone.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Swivel: Accessory

This is a good product but the acoustic tube swivel is TERRIBLE. This is the third (3RD STRIKE) headphone I have received because the vertebral tube broke again. I wish I could just buy a swiveling acoustic tube clamp instead.

Pros
  • Portable AV
Cons
  • Almost never

LEO caution good for headsets and mics

At first I really liked this product, I used it for about a month then it started shorting the speaker jack to the speaker. The microphone and button still worked, but I couldn't hear anything. At work, where your radio can mean life or death, this is a big problem. It also does not yet come into contact with a metal frame reinforced in this context. If you are in the LEO region I would avoid this purchase. I went back to my default mic/speaker setup.

It has been more than 6 months

This purchase was a necessity for me. The audio jack on my remote speaker was broken, and in order to provide safe wireless connections without replacing the remote speaker, I had to get something. It was my choice. The wires are longer than anyone would need, but I wrapped them around the radio itself. I have an external carry vest and this is a great option. I wouldn't use this with a belt radio unless you've never had to toss a deuce in a shift.

Pros
  • Headsets and Microphones
Cons
  • Some issues
