These earrings are thicker but very pretty and will not fade even with everyday wear. (Yes you can wet them, I've washed them in the shower a few times.) I've looked at the reviews and a lot of people have said they don't unscrew, but all you need is patience and a hold tight and I promise you they will fall apart :).
