The Best Homemade Straw Cleaner

My reusable plastic straw is finally clean and ready for tomorrow. Running through soap and hot water just didn't bring out part of the lemon pulp and looked dirty. The brush just brushed everything clean and I've been using it every day since I bought it. I am very happy with this wonderful brush. Great invention and much needed.

Pros
  • Fits Many
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

I use this for my reusable straws

I've tried free solutions I've found for cleaning reusable straws but nothing has worked as well as this brush. It's nice, long and does what it's supposed to do. I love making my own smoothies with different berries and I had a really hard time peeling the straw. I was very happy to find this at Revain.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Good Tervis straw brush

I received a beautiful 24oz Tervis glass for Christmas. I'm a fan of straw hygiene. It really does the job. It goes almost completely through the straw on one side. Tea stains come right out from the inside. When I saw the size of the brush I was sure it wouldn't work, but it really does the job.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Long time

That's cool! good for cleaning tools

I love how long this brush is! I have a 10 inch reusable plastic straw that I use for ice tea all the time and it got pretty dirty on the inside. I lowered soap into it but couldn't clean it. I didn't want to buy a new straw every time it got dirty. Found this brush, bought it and it works great! Washed all stains out of my straw :-)

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Zero

Long bristle section for better access to the inside of the straw.

I have not used this brush before, so this review is a little premature. I like that it has a long bristle section compared to others I've seen. I think $5 is a bit expensive for something so simple and made with expensive materials. Also, the brush turned out to be exactly what I wanted and only time will tell how durable it is etc.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Periodicity

Great product with many uses. Try it. You will love it. I do!

LOVE this product! I use this brush to clean the straw and the coffee grounds container in my espresso machine. Any small narrow hole can be easily cleaned with this brush. Will happily buy again when this wears out but still works after years of use. I think this would make a good Christmas gift for those who use reusable straws (kids reusable cups come with them, as do spill-proof kids cups).

Pros
  • Nylon Bristles: Width & Length Approx. 1/4" X 4"
Cons
  • Non-Automatic

Lots of cleaning straws

I like these. I didn't know they were sold at Starbucks or I would have checked out one of their stores. I broke the straw that came with one of my mugs. These were the only ones that let you know exactly how long they were. The photos were helpful. Now I don't have many straws when I break one. Many of the other straws listed are not listed in length. I knew the 18" would be too long but some were of different lengths and the photos helped a lot. I would buy them again.

Pros
  • Rounded white plastic tip to prevent scratches
Cons
  • Some bugs
