🧼 Avene Cleansing Foam: Soap-Free Foaming Face Wash for Oily and Sensitive Skin, 5 oz. Review

My sister told me about this cleanser and she loves the clean ingredients so I switched to it and have been using it for a few months and I love it! I have sensitive oily skin and I swear it made it better, I also have acne prone skin and to be honest I almost never get acne. Unlike many other cleansers, it does an excellent job of removing make-up from the face. Definitely recommend!

Terrible product for the face. The perfume is so strong and sweet that it made me nauseous and of course my skin became very irritated. I accidentally got it in my eye and it burned like glass even after I rinsed it out. My eye kept burning and tingling and was also red and swollen. These are usually heavily perfumed products, so you should ESPECIALLY avoid them if your skin is sensitive. Aside from the issues mentioned, it doesn't even clean well! I have suffered from acne for many years and have tried many cleansers from all natural ingredients to products with all those "things" (salicylic acid, aha bha, whatever) and they have either dried out my face or dried me out left irritated . This cleaner is mild and smells nice. It won't cure your acne, but it will help control your acne (at least for me). It doesn't irritate my skin or dry it out. (I have combination skin).

This toner is great. I've just started using it and it's so light and cleans well all day. My dermatologist recommended Avene because of the high quality. I started their sunscreen and now use all of their products. They are fragrance and additive free and good for dry skin. I have relatively dry skin and combine two products for perfect hydration. I bought the Asian version of this foam cleansing on a recent trip to Hong Kong for at least 50% more than I paid for Revain. I forgot my regular soap (Goal) at home and needed something for my sensitive skin. I was amazed the first time I used it! All my makeup came off easily and my skin was clear and soft. I normally like the Avene line of products, but this has done next to nothing for my skin. I think this is great if you have mature skin and wear very little to no makeup and just want to *wash* your face with something. Not drying, but not particularly moisturizing. Looks like foam, very soft, light aroma. I would not recommend if you have oily/combination acne prone skin!
