The most important upgrade for advanced driving.

Used on the 2003 Buell Blast, these things made an instant difference even before they were broken in, and the factory rotors hold a surprising amount of heat from constant braking. I overheated the pads that came with the bike, I believe they were organic, and after going flat out on the twisty local roads on Saturday, the organic pads stopped stopping the bike. It was the perfect answer and with a new set of high performance rotors it would have been 10/10.

VTX1300C very loud pads

FA196HH on 2004 VTX1300C in front and still loud after 200 km. Sound like squeaking sand under light to moderate braking. Old factory pads installed, no sound. The last sound the soundpads made was a thump as they hit the bottom of the trash can. New factory upholstery ordered. Recently had the same issue with the rear brake on a DRZ400SM with EBC pads and also had it sent back to the factory. Not sure what's wrong as I've been using EBC for years but not anymore. Both combine well with slight…

Works great, but the noise is annoying.

Copper brake pads sound like a great idea on paper. Copper is a good conductor so it needs to stay cold. Excessive heat is very bad when it comes to your brakes. I should have listened to the reviews. They are loud. When you apply the brakes, they seem about to fail. It's kind of a grating, hissing, creaking sound. If I hadn't been warned I would have been worried! I believe it's copper flakes mixed with pad material. They hold up great though and I'm sure the split construction and copper…

Fits 2015 Honda CB 500 X

The pads fit my 2015 NISSAN CB500 X brake perfectly. Say well done. The pads are a bit awkward to fit into the caliper. Be patient. Before installing, clean the inside of the caliper well, including the pistons. Also lubricate the caliper slide pins. Eventually, the locking pin is likely to corrode. scratching or grinding. Apply a VERY light amount of grease to the retainer when reassembling. Don't forget to transfer the anti-rattle/squeak parts from the old pads to the new ones. Be careful not

Perfect fit, with bees!

They were perfect for changing the pads on my Honda. The originals lasted 22,000 and probably would have lasted 5 more but they were already 20 years old so I was starting to worry about aging. They differ slightly from the factory pads in that the original pads were not two different pads like this, but one pad with four grooves. There is a disturbing phenomenon. I could hear a rapid ticking (almost a hum) when (and only when) I applied the front brake with my old pads. This is because the…

Increased the braking power of my Honda Magna

This is one area where Honda cuts corners to save on manufacturing costs that owners of the latest Magnas hate. These powerful V-4 powered cruisers accelerate much faster than two underpowered Shadows, and they really need two front disc brakes to slow them down. The OEM pads that Honda offers barely fit. Once these sintered EBC brake pads are seated or worn out, you'll notice a big difference in stopping power, and they can save you from a hot mess in your pants if you happen to get into a…
