Cheap, used, defective zipper. Beware!

We received the backpack but the inside was dirty and the tag was torn off and taped inside. This clearly indicates that this product has been used, possibly returned and then resold to us. We were very dissatisfied. Also, one of the zippers on the backpack was broken. We honestly think it wasn't even an Eberlestock backpack! We order direct from Eberlestock and the difference in quality between these two bags is incredible.

Eberlestock has no idea

The hem is too narrow, so the straps sit tight around the chest. Also for people of normal height. There are no webbing loops to hold on to with all those ridiculous zippers. All this time I've been trying to figure out how and where to get a bag so I can use the zippers. No compression straps. Why don't you just pop one in to make the whole valve stop at the top so you can use it as a top load. No padding on the laptop sleeve. The laptop hangs from a cheap piece of felt with holes in the sides

Makes a great fishing bag

I own 3 Eberlestock backpacks, this is the smallest of the 3. The bag has many compartments and pockets for fishing tackle. The top pocket is perfect for keys, phone etc. The front pocket is large enough for a raincoat. It's a bit tricky to get a gun out of the gun bag, but it's better than keeping it where everyone else can see if it's next to your bag. So far it's adequately protected from the rain, but I wouldn't leave it on for too long. I will definitely be using this bag for fishing and…

Great package! good for tactical and personal defense

Excellent and versatile backpack. It's got tons of organization, plenty of easy pocket storage, and is still relatively light for its size. The side pockets easily fit a 32-ounce Nalgene or GI bottle. The main compartment has handy dividers for separating flat items, and the compartment's anti-clockwise magnetic closure works very well. My only complaint is that the side compression straps have to be purchased separately and there is no way to attach the straps to the bottom of the pack for…

Redesigned, great package.

For a backpacking novice, you may think that $200 for a backpack is very expensive, but after looking at a few options, you realize that all you have to do is "buy once, cry once" to get the right gear.. Eberlestock really redesigned this package. To be honest, I will buy more bags from Eberlestock in the future. This is a great bag for hiking, camping and working out. I still have room in my bag but it is about 3/4 full and carries a load of about 20-30 pounds very comfortably. I love the…
