The charger can only charge 4 batteries at the same time. If you try to charge 8 batteries at the same time, an error message will appear. A little frustrating is that you can only charge 4 batteries at the same time. I'm assuming it's a design flaw.

I have purchased two previous models of these wall chargers. This device does not have a wall adapter. If you don't have a USB port, you need to buy a power adapter for this charger. It seems to charge slower than the older chargers I already have.

UPDATE 2: Replacement batteries have arrived and are working fine - the only thing I want is PLEASE CHECK YOUR VOLTAGE REQUIREMENTS! These batteries will work for remote controls and low power things, but not anything that requires AA batteries! I recently found that this is only 1.2v compared to the standard 1.5v in a normal store bought with AA batteries so they don't power my metal detector - it won't turn on! Didn't expect much, but the charger convinced me. Holds many batteries and each has its own green/red charge indicator. It also seems accurate as I intentionally charged multiple batteries after different usage levels and they all turned green at different times. Batteries are working well so far.

I have bought other sizes of EBL batteries in the past and they have always worked well. I mostly use size AAA and AA is the second most used size. I love that the charger that comes with these AAs fits both sizes. I recommend EBL batteries.

I always use batteries so I went the rechargeable route. Out of several brands I tried, this brand was the best for price and reliability.

I bought these batteries to use with my Xbox controllers. My surprise was that the first pair of batteries died within 2 months of daily use. These batteries last forever, they last for months on a single charge. Money on regular batteries at the moment I'm thinking about buying another pair so all my electronics use these batteries and help the environment on top of saving money. I use these batteries in a guitar with active electronics. The guitar manual estimates that a pair of fresh AA alkaline batteries will last around 15 to 20 hours. That's about what I get with EBL NiMH batteries. I play three to four hours a day, every day, so using disposable batteries is impractical and not environmentally friendly. With my set of 8 batteries I never run out of a fully charged pair.

I bought these batteries primarily for use in my Xbox Series X controller. Initially the batteries seemed to have good life and didn't have any real complaints for the first 6 months. Several negative reviews referred to the "inability" to charge all 8 batteries at the same time. Just use a 2.0A USB port (not 1.0A for mobile phones) and you're good to go. My eight (new) batteries were fully charged in about 1.5 hours. Complaints in this case relate to abuse. Solid product!

I have some EBL batteries. I use them in toys, flashlights, and bike headlights and taillights. They usually hold a charge, but after a few years they seem to wear out. Charging is ok, but not suitable for charging AA and AAA at the same time. Red lights will flash in error mode when both sizes are inserted. It works great for each size individually and can charge 1 to 8 batteries of the same size at the same time. All in all, EBL batteries and chargers are a great solution.

I use batteries a lot and am tired of throwing them away. Fast charge and they are a thing of the past. Connect and use again!

I put 8 AA batteries in and started charging them. When I came back in the morning, the charger was flashing red and green alternately. I ordered them for use in the game camera. Charged until all gauges turned green. Installed in the camera and only shows 50%. New alkaline batteries always show 100%. If they don't charge fully and last longer, they're a waste of money. These are halo batteries. They refunded my money as they didn't work for my app.

This charger is pretty good, EBL batteries are always very good, but it only has MICRO USB power input. Many other EBL chargers have USB-C power connectors, or both. We're trying to move to USB-C for everything.

Works well. It would be nice if a charger was included. My first one broke but the company got back to me right away and sent a replacement.
