My experience with these shoes was great. The upper made of perforated leather makes them extremely breathable. I suspect I'll have to wear flip flops to get something more breathable. My dad bought the same pair from Von Maur so I ordered a pair for my husband from Revain as they were out of stock. The shoes we received from Revain have relatively thin matte leather and are made in China. The ones we bought in the store have a very different feel, are very durable and are made in Thailand. Shoes are one size larger. We decided to keep them as they are comfortable for everyday use.

The leather of these shoes is very comfortable. Very comfortable with good arch support. They should breathe well because I wore them all day with a pair of elegant wool socks and my feet and shoes were completely dry when I took them off after 8 hours. They're a bit big; I wear a US size 9 in men's shoes and a size 8-8.5 fits perfectly with socks but barefoot still dangles a bit. Order one size smaller.
