👞 ECCO Melbourne Black Loafer Size 12.5 (US 12) Review

I really like Ecco shoes but they tend to be larger than any other brand I own. I knew I had shrunk for these laceless shoes, but they were still too big/loose to wear laceless shoes. I will continue to buy Ecco shoes for their comfort and durability but unfortunately I cannot use their laceless loafer style shoes. As for the quality of this shoe, the leather feels and looks great and as mentioned before the shoes are comfortable.

So I ordered my first pair of ECCO shoes because they were highly recommended by a group of flight attendants I work with. We're on our feet most of the day and still need shoes that look professional. So I bought shoes in size 45 as I usually have shoe size 10-10.5-11 (depending on the manufacturer). 45s are just big, fit my square toes, but my heel lifts a little with every step and I'm afraid they'll slip off when I walk between the gates. Difficult to judge from the photo, but the toe is rather narrow. Maybe it doesn't get wider with size, but these shoes are very spikey. Not only is it ugly, it's also too tight. Now I know how women feel! Otherwise the quality of the shoe is very good but just not the best option for a classic penny loafer style. I returned it.
