👟 ECCO Men's Classic Sneaker MOONLESS: Timeless Style with Additional Comfort Review

These shoes are pretty cute but appear to be a lighter weight 'budget' ECCO sneaker. Decent enough if you're willing to spend under $100, but not as good as the ECCO 7 sneakers. Let's assume they're good enough to sneak around.

I have several pairs of Ecco sneakers that I wear all the time including the Soft 7 and the Soft 8. These shoes are very similar to the Soft 7 in shape and fit but the style is a bit simpler, without socks. The heel tab and sockliner are also slightly different, but these are all minor changes. I'd say the fit is also very close to the more expensive Soft 7s, just maybe a little less sculpted or refined. These babes exude sophisticated, understated class. It's like a gated community on your feet! *Update, after about a week of use the leather has noticeable fading and the shoe is actually not as comfortable as it was at first. So much for Ecco's famous quality, I'm blown away.

I gave 4 stars because the color was lighter brown than in the example photo. After a 12 mile hike on mountain trails, these shoes showed no damage and were quite comfortable even on rocky, uneven terrain and no blisters on my delicate feet. I love these shoes and they look good too. I ordered my normal size 10d and they fit perfectly. The outsole is excellent, with good grip and durable. I don't think it's a hiking shoe but what a surprise!

I already have 3 pairs of ecco shoes and I'm thrilled. I bought it to combine with black pants. My plan is ruined because it's not perfect for black pants. The color of the shoe strap is navy blue and worst of all the rings on the strap are too shiny silver. The sizing is the same as other ecco shoes, but the fit is different than other ecco shoes. There's mesh on the inside, but it feels a little lighter than the feeling of being wrapped around it.

These shoes are designed for everyday use – for walking. They fit well and are comfortable. I've been buying Ecco shoes for 20 years. including dress shoes, sneakers and casual shoes. I always have a high quality finish and all my shoes are very durable. I expect them to be the same.
