I stumbled across this while looking for a cheaper alternative to what I found on one site. It was the exact same item but definitely a fraction of the cost (the first item I saw sold for $70). The purchase is definitely worth it. I have used this the last few times my boyfriend and I went to the beach and even he absolutely loves this item!

Everyone who travels needs this, it's their hand luggage. I bought this towel for an all inclusive trip to the Caribbean. They said it might be difficult to get a towel so I decided to pack this just in case. Of course, not only did I use it as a towel to mark my chair in a sea of beige towels, but also as a tablecloth and blanket. I buy one for everyone in my family. It fits in a small backpack and I can't imagine a trip without it.

I haven't had a chance to take it to the beach and use it after swimming BUT I can already say that I really like the "Cancun" pattern and I do others can buy a gift Colour: The color is not as bright as in the photos - rather muted, washed out (possibly 70's color scheme) Weight: I wouldn't call it light. It is not heavy on its own, but not suitable for traveling light, but it folds up a bit. Fabric: As others have said, the fabric is very soft and pleasant to the touch.

I was looking for a lightweight and portable holiday towel and this microfiber beach towel was just what I needed! it didn't take up space in my luggage. But what I liked most about this towel is that it is very absorbent, dried me out and then dried really quickly too! So every time I got out of the water I had a dry towel. I have this towel and a more popular brand that costs twice as much. Both perform equally well in terms of quick drying, quick absorption, lightness and compactness. The branded leather is much softer, almost like suede, and this one doesn't feel very good on the skin, it's kind of sticky. However, none of these are a substitute for a fluffy bath towel.
