Poor Machining: Axles

Holes were not aligned to allow cotter pin to fit. The hole was drilled in the wrong place and the bearings didn't fit the shaft. The shaft was 0.005 larger than the inside of the bearings.

Didn't fit my 2001 Polaris Sportsman 500.

Didn't fit my 2001 Polaris Sportsman 500. I was very upset because I ordered these shafts as replacements over a year ago. When they arrived they looked visually identical so I put them on the shelf. They had some subtle differences that really confused me. The outer CV joint is slightly larger than the OEM joint, causing the rubber boot to rub against the aluminum strut/bearing housing. I installed the shaft anyway after some small adjustments, only to find that the shaft was too short. A test
