ECCPP 1X Uncut Keyless Entry Remote Key Fob for Honda Pilot/Accord KR55WK49308 - 313.8MHz Replacement Review

I bought a used Honda that didn't come with a key fob so I bought this key and had a technician cut and program it. The key works great, both remotely and in the ignition, and was a lot cheaper than buying it from a Honda dealer.

The key starts the car, the doors close/open but the tailgate does not open. I could ask for a replacement key, but I would have to spend another $150 to program a new key. I will save it as a backup key and hope I never need it.

Not working. It's cut and programmed to lock/unlock, but the key doesn't have a security transponder. My Honda Pilot turns off immediately after starting. I spent $40 at a lock and key programming store to program a key that didn't work and I was past the 30 day return window.

I couldn't use my old Honda pilot key and just screw it into this new shell. The question and answer states that the key is removable. It's not like this. I had to carry the keys to the store and cut them. Hence - the price tag of $24 ONLY for the body. The key store had exact shells for $12.

Cut and program it following the online instructions in the pictures. Unfortunately it starts the car and runs for a second and then the car stalls. When I first used it, my wife stood in the middle of the street in front of our house. We took it to a dealership and they told us it didn't have a chip. It's basically useless. I want my money back.

The FAQ in the list is wrong. Also the answer of the support 1) They repeated that it is detachable and 2) Pry along the seam. There is no seam. The empty key blade is permanently in the plastic housing. Q2: Is the key blade detachable? A2: Yes. There is a screw for attaching the key blade. Please note that improper operation after removal may cause damage. No instructions - typical.
