Didn't even last a week of constant use and the fan itself just started slowing down and hardly moving at all Thanks for attention.

This is perfect. It installs easily on the stove pipe, and works extremely well, pushing warmth out from the stove and further into the room. The wood stove we put this on has a curved top/diffuser so a fan that sits on the stove wouldn't suffice. This was a great solution. I'd even get it for a stove with a flat top.

Works don’t think it spreads the heat around , it does help telling me when the stove needs wood or it’s not hot enough because it won’t run

Now that winter is over I haven't needed a fire in the wood stove! But it is a high quality product. Comes with the band to connect it to the chimney stack. Reasonably sized, not too big, not too small.

So it 100% works. however it does not move any air. I know that sounds crazy but it doesn't. It spins like crazy when our fireplace is hot. The band was way way to small to fit around our fire place exhaust.

Purchased 2 fans one for the top of stove one for stove pipe. Stove pipe unit not balanced and not capable of spinning at high speeds like the other band I purchased. look elsewhere.

I bought this because it was the only one i could find that would possibly lie with the fan pointed up rather than to the side. I was unsure if it would balance while pointed upwards, but to my relief, it does quite well.

I have a fan I place on top of my stove and this one. When I light my fire, this one spins like crazy but the on on top of the stove doesn't turn until it hits 130F or so. But once the fire gets going and I reduce the air flow to increase efficiency, this fan slows down a lot while my stove top one is spinning like crazy (the stove top gets 400-500F in about 20min so the stove top fan is great).However, I would still get both since just the heat sink pulls heat that would normally just go up…

We live in Alaska and can cut firewood for free. We have a woodstove to cut down on heating oil consumption. Mounted this on stovepipe. As soon as fire was started the fan began turning, moving heat away from stove without use of electricity. Absolutely worth buying!

This is very small, the photo is deceiving so pay attention to the measurements in the description. It does work, but sometimes it needs a nudge to start spinning. Because it's so small it doesn't move much air but it does move some. Not worth it for the price.

This fan is quiet. It started working even before we had it installed, since the fire was still going.This thing has a pretty high novelty factor, its interesting to see it run without electricity. It doesn't move much air, but it is handy to gauge when the fire is starting to go cold without opening the fire box. Fan slows or stops, time to add more wood.

Works and does the job seems to push the air pretty good. Thinking about getting another one to maximize the heat Worked with minimal circulation for 2 months. Then completely died.!

The photo of this item is edited to make this fan seem twice as big as it actually. This is purposefully deceptive. If they change the photo I'll happily change this review.

I find it ridiculous that the hose clamp included with the fan is too short to reach around a common flue pipe size of 8” diameter. It is some 3 inches too short. It would just barely fit a 6” diameter flue. I’d guess the vendor saved all of 50 cents limited it to a size too small to allow me to use the product and forcing me to drive one hour to the nearest town. Seriously. I can’t even rate it as I can’t even use it.

This is the third of these fans I have purchased. The fan stopped working with 6 weeks. It appears to be just plain junk. Once again where is the QC.. All of them work flawlessly, one the best fans I have ever purchased.

This item worked once now just sits there not moving huge disappointment. The standing one I’d give 5 stars buy that one instead.

Think of a hurricane. This is not that. I'm not sure it actually moves any air. There is no perceptible air movement. We have essentially reduced it to a fancy ornament. Stay away.
