25% failure rate in less than 3 months

I have over 100 spare Philips bulbs in my home. Phillips' failure rate was 3 in 100 over 5 years. had to be replaced as the brightness diminishes over time. Went to Home Depot and bought them about 3 months ago and I find faulty bulbs on a weekly basis.

Pros
  • Uses 83% less energy than a traditional incandescent bulb
Cons
  • Quick start guide
