I bought these for my father who recently had a stroke. He's been wearing them every day for the past 3 months and so far has only put a hole in one of his socks. It wasn't the bad quality of the material, it was his toenails. Just wanted to mention this as I've seen some reviews say it's about holes. My brother who takes care of my father only washes lukewarm and doesn't dry them if that helps.

Comfortable and light. It really helps if you stand all day. I may not continue to buy as the socks will last about a year at best with normal use, but only a few months most of the time. Just know that they heal and their toes give way. I even bought a new pair of pairs and a couple of similar cheap bamboo socks at the same time to compare and both Ecosox and cheap pairs are showing significant wear and hole healing. I've also bought some more expensive socks and they still hold up great.

A better description would be "disposable socks”. On first use they were very comfortable and served the purpose and purpose of compression stockings. Unfortunately, after just one wear and wash, the socks don't perform any better than regular suit socks and have no compression properties whatsoever. I have several other brands of compression stockings and some are cheaper but far superior to these socks. Compression stockings are a must after major knee surgery. Wearing it a second time…
