Don't buy expensive brushes

I don't understand people who spend money on overpriced make-up brushes. I've been using this for at least five years with great results. I threw away an expensive IT Cosmetics brush. This brush won't pick up all of your makeup. I've used it with LancΓ΄me and IT Cosmetics Foundation including Bye Bye Redness. Here you can save a dollar and get good results.

The bristles were brittle and very soft which is great but not what I am.

I have been using the EcoTools flat brush for many years. I've always bought from chain stores (e.g. Target and Walmart) and this was my first purchase from Revain. The bristles were brittle and very soft which is great but not what I was looking for. After the first use it felt like I had been using it for a year. I liked it when the brush was stiffer and held its shape.

I'm used to nicer brushes

Mine was very hard, I didn't have to send it back but ended up buying a nicer and more expensive brush. I like soft, fluffy foundation brushes. In fact, I like almost all of my makeup brushes soft and fluffy. My favorite way to apply makeup is with soft and fluffy brushes. Not sure if I still have it, I've been thinking about keeping it for travel or should I just get rid of it. I knew it probably wouldn't be that great for the price, and I was right. I wish I could follow my instincts.

An economical, small and soft brush works well for applying the foundation.

The EcoTools Foundation Brush does a great job of smoothing out foundation. The bristles are thin and soft and pleasant to the touch. It's small but beneficial around demarcated areas like the eyes and nose. However, this means more sweeping on broader areas like the cheeks, so it's a trade-off, but I don't find it problematic. I like that it doesn't absorb much of the foundation. Washes well with baby shampoo, the bristles don't fall out. Very economical, I am very happy with this purchase…
