The thing is super! It's so convenient, convenient, and efficient that I think it actually helps me keep my entire kitchen clean. It was strong enough to hold all the little junk we've thrown at it so far; including small fragments of peanut shells. We'll see how it holds up over time, but right now it's $10. Was great at first, stronger than the yellow emoji I have. Stops working after 10 uses. This is not due to defective batteries. Tried the new Energizer and Duracells. Whatever engine is in it, it's dead. I wouldn't recommend it. Too bad because I really loved it for the crumbs, the keyboard, everything even on the carpet. The return window has expired. This product has worked well for about a week. I kept it on my desk to pick up small crumbs, eraser shavings, etc. Last night I was startled by a loud, high-pitched grinding noise. I'm a speech therapist in the early intervention group. I do things with my kids that are a bit messy. One of them buries small items in a tub of rice and makes them "dig" until they find something, then talks about it. Unfortunately, we usually empty the rice out of the tub.
