I wouldn't call it a bag. Maybe it's half the battle.

Maybe mine was only half done. This is the same open tarpaulin as the bag. There is no zipper or built in way to close it to make it a "pocket". What a waste of money. I will try to return. I hate giving things back.

Simple bag with no frills

Simple, no frills, no frills. It has a long enough strap that allows you to carry the bag on your back. I have a 60m Edelrid 10.1 Cobra sport rope and this bag holds it like a champ. Maybe there is still room for another 60 meters of rope. I could put shoes, harness and belay device in there, but I have a different bag for that.

Simple and effective

I needed a long and thin rope bag to throw over my climbing packs. This thing is the perfect length as long as you twist the rope properly when winding it up. The thickness is perfect for using side straps to keep the weight and rope in place. I've also used it on my gf backpack by threading it through the bottom loops where a sleeping bag/pillow could be placed and it worked great there too.
