Streamline Your Dash with Edge Products 18503 Dash Pod Review

If you have an Edge product and don't want to attach it to the window with a suction cup, buy this holder. It appears to be part of the dashboard and blends in well with it and looks 'finished'.

Installed in 2012 Ford F-350. The instructions say to break the tab at the bottom right of the score line. When trying to break into tab, the results were terrible as there was no good result line. Looks terrible. Should have, should have cut with a razor blade.

Great product. I've been eyeing one of these for a while and finally bought it. I have an Edge Insight CTS2 and used a suction cup windshield mount. I've always had a hard time lifting and removing my sun visor and having it mounted in the bottom corner of the windshield created a blind spot when pulled close. I gave it 4 stars because it's not the perfect shape for the dashboard and the instructions aren't great. If you have basic mechanical skills you should be able to figure it out.

Does not fit original CTS Edge even with adapters. The hole on the back of the bracket is not wide enough for the cable pin assembly. The RCA connector fits into the front of the module and prevents the device from snapping into the bracket. I drilled and cut a plastic mount to accommodate the wide pin block.
