My daughter LOVES this toy, she is her favourite. We bought it when she was barely a year old and now she is two years old and still uses it regularly. This toy is carefully designed to slowly roll the balls down the ramp, perfect for toddlers. Other reviewers have stated that it falls too easily or falls apart, but I think it's on purpose. The balls appear to be floating on the sides of the lane more than on the bottom, which has the effect of slowing down and speeding up the rolling speed (if you put a small ball on the same lane, it will speed away). Bought this toy for a 1 year old granddaughter for her first birthday. She loved the balls and immediately threw them over the top, but this toy is VERY unstable. It continued to detach from the link above the base and fell on it very easily. Every time she grabbed the ball, the toy would fall apart and fall down. I love this ball toy - yes I wish it wouldn't fall apart so easily but it has lasted about 7 years in my class and has moved A LOT from one place to another. If you don't want it to fall apart I recommend strong SCOTCH brand clear tape on the seams and encourage kids NOT to intentionally take it apart - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't BUT the kids I use have special needs and I don't want them to disassemble or rebuild it, just play with balls and focus on tracking balls.
