This product has been recently modified by the manufacturer. I have been using Efferdent plus for the daily cleaning of my night protection for 15 years. What used to be a pleasant minty taste has been replaced with an incredibly unpleasant, nasty, chemical, toxic taste. I seriously doubt that there is anyone who can actually use this product right now. I sent the first box back and Revain sent a replacement. Unfortunately, this is exactly the same nasty new product. I use this cleaner for white porcelain cups (e.g. thin jade porcelain teacups imported from China and Korea). Put one tablet in a cup and pour hot water over it. Let the mixture sit for an hour to keep my mugs white! I've found it can remove years of stubborn caffeine and tea stains on my porcelain mugs, so I think it can do wonders for porcelain dentures too. Great Invisalign Cleaner I almost bought the cleaner advertised by Invisalign and saw a review that said the tray in the box had dentures or something like that built into the tray itself and more costs. I've been using this for a few weeks now and my retainers are clean and shiny. My dentist also recommended using this to keep them clean. Saved some changes and set to send automatically.

I use a night mouth guard when grinding my teeth and needed a thorough cleaning. I soaked it for a day (about 10 hours?) for 3 days and it removed a significant amount of debris and appeared MUCH cleaner. BUT, and that's a big BUT (laughs), it had a SUPER chemical taste! I had to rinse my mouth many times and on the 2nd day I had to soak it in mouthwash so it could be used before bed. I've always preferred Efferdent to Polydent but this mint one was disappointing. The pills are half green, half blue, and the green is mint, but I think that takes the power out of the effedent. Not enough that works, and there's almost no mint flavor. You can get a much stronger mint flavor by simply adding a drop of mouthwash to your regular efferdent or simply brushing your dentures. I still support the Efferdent brand, but this particular variant of Plus Mint is really underwhelming.
