Exactly as pictured good quality product at a very reasonable price

This is a very nice merino wool zip up shirt. nor its durability, but the cut is athletic but not tight, and the 280g material seems to be right (so it doesn't feel flimsy or cheap). The neck area is a bit loose but exactly as shown on the model. The shirt would have been warmer if it was cut a bit tighter to keep cold drafts out of the neck, but overall it seems a great piece. After unpacking the first one, I bought a second one :-)

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Can't remember

Good value for a Merino wool top

Good fit. Warm, breathable, I would buy more. Care requires extra attention, but I've machine washed and hung dry without breaking the fit and not seeing any pills. I would buy another.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • New competition has arrived

The perfect wool shirt in the best color Active

This product is an ideal replacement for similar products from more popular brands. It's not as soft as some but still quite comfortable and fits me very well unlike some other brands and the price was very attractive. I will definitely buy again!

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons

Liked the thumb holes

Merino wool is perfect for winter activities. I've tried everything. Cotton gets wet when you sweat and makes you feel cold all day. Plastic materials never get hot when switched on. I've always been a fan of wool as it wears like iron but can scratch. This is not merino wool, it is soft and durable. I can wear merino wool several times while skiing and it never stinks. You can sweat a lot in it and it doesn't retain moisture. When skiing and outdoors I wear both tops and bottoms made from…

Skinny Active Base Layers

This is a skinny dress for the American who wears big shirts. I do lat exercises so a slim fit isn't for me, but it's not advertised as a slim fit. You can increase the size.

Pros
  • Full Set
Cons
  • Expensive

The perfect long-sleeved shirt made of merino wool?

This Merino wool long sleeve shirt is very comfortable and warm. Thumbholes on each sleeve and a zip fastening at the neck are a nice touch. Overall it looks and feels like something more expensive. I have one of the Smart Wools 250 merino sweaters but this one is much better with more features at half the price. I just bought another one of these. I bought the small size and mine is more for a slim fit, not tight but comfortable. Buy one, you won't regret it.

Good buy - Active Base Layers

Soft and fits my husband perfectly! I'm always nervous about online clothing but this shirt is amazing and very well made.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Doesn't fit all

Check for sizing

I'm 6ft 0in, 170lbs, Waist 32in, Chest 40in, Sleeve 35in. Classic Jos shirt. Banks Tailored Fit 16-35 will do. I ordered a large one to use as a base coat. It is about the size of an athletic fit, tall, tall, loose but not sloppy like the model in the picture. Sleeves are 37", body is a few inches longer than normal, neckline is loose but not too big. Mid-weight fabric, high-quality single-ply merino wool, very soft merino wool, stitching is even, threads won't skip or wrinkle .The quarter zip…

  • Pretty Package
Cons
  • Skinny Pack

This is ideal for long distance cycling/hiking.

I use this for long adventures when machine washing isn't an option. I can smell it, but I don't. Good enough to remove moisture. Dries fast. Gray heather looks natural. I wear it alone or as a light base under a fleece sweater. I will buy more for spring and summer. For winter I would like to find a thicker option.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Useless features
