EKNITEY Tables Living Portable Rustic Review

I use this thing as a desk every day and it's holding up very well. Don't get me wrong, this is a cheap product and I fully expect to get what I paid for, but although it looks cheap it comes in very handy as I also use it as a "coloring book". . Nails" or "lazy TV dinner Tuesdays" lately. Definitely worth it.

Why I headline 'pleasant surprise' is that you never know exactly what you're going to get when you order furniture online. It's a solid, well-designed piece that's fairly easy to assemble, looks good, and fits exactly what I need it for. It fits on the armrest of a double chair. I am very satisfied and my wife commented that it was beautiful.

The assembly was quite difficult. I spent 2-3 hours on this and couldn't set it up like the instructions say (or otherwise). Maybe it was an order. Also, one of the screws went through the table top a bit. I got frustrated and put it off for a few months. I was convinced I had been sent the wrong part and wanted to return it. The item was very easy to assemble but not very strong and the quality of the table top is very very poor. Apparently chipboard (which I knew about but didn't expect any obvious stitching around the edges of the upper) with rounded corners, which makes them look even cheaper to me. This is to make sure I don't plan on returning it either. Especially considering how insane the email system is right now. It was too expensive for what it is now. DO NOT buy this junk product. It's garbage. The whole thing kept falling apart while building. The brackets inside the metal tube that the screws go into weren't installed properly, the slightest pressure from the screws made them pop right out of the metal (pictured). One of the screw holes wasn't even tapped (also pictured). This product is made from the highest quality materials I have seen from Revain. I didn't even get the table fully assembled because I couldn't hold the square brackets…

I bought this as a 'desk' for my second grader during distance learning. The sides of the tabletop look like 70's Formica, but it's durable and does the job well. One thing to note: It has adjustable plastic feet that haven't scratched my hardwood floor yet.
