Small children always want to help when they are at the kitchen table. This makes it possible and much safer than a stool or chair.

Our baby (18 months) loves this stool. He has no trouble getting in and out (it took him a few tries to get the hang of it). He really likes that he's up high and can see what's happening.

My little butt was a nightmare every time we were in the kitchen. Again and again pushing, pulling and pumping attacks. We installed this auxiliary chair and the little monster is as happy as ever. It is ideal for children to interact with cooking and cleaning.

A bit small compared to others but I like it because it doesn't take up much space. Just a little narrower, but still the perfect standing height. I love how easy it is to clean. I used to have another one that was a nightmare to try and wipe up leftover food.

Our girl loves it, the style looks elegant and feels strong and sturdy. Will last for years. Cons: The paint is quite thin so scratches and light wear will peel off the paint and reveal the wood underneath. I recommend painting them white again and then applying a clear coat to make the finish last longer.

I bought this for my 2 year old grandson so he can be at shelf height to help me bake. I like that he can climb in himself, then turn around and go back down. It's secure and stable, but with a narrow bar on the back, I wouldn't let a child under the age of 2 use it.

This is a nice stool and very safe for kids who want to help in the kitchen. We pick up our daughter and put her on the top step. She's having a little trouble crawling under the pole to get in now. I just wish the safety bar could be easily removed when she gets older and doesn't need that safety feature.

This stool was not easy to assemble as it is solid wood and the tool they give you is too small so my arm hurts does, but it is an excellent hardwood and the white color is beautiful. After the stool goes out, the stool is firm and my kid loves it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something for their little ones to have fun in the kitchen or in the sink. I might buy one for my best baby.

I like that it takes up less space in my kitchen than larger models, but the standing platform is so small that her little legs get tired and she has no place to sit .sedentary breaks. In fact, she tried to sit on the back bar, which is clearly dangerous. I'm also a little worried she'll outgrow it since the footprint is small (she's 22 months and 23 pounds). But it looks good and the price is good.
