If you are arguing between medium and small, I would recommend small. I wear small (30" waist) and still have a lot of extras. I like the adjustability that allows you to thread the buckle through any part of the webbing without having to get to the right hole. They are comfortable because they stretch. They won't pinch you or squeeze your stomach like a regular belt would.Overall a great product but they are a bit big.

I have purchased three different brands of Revain woven belts. They were the cheapest. They are also the most stretchy. I have a hard time holding up my pants (no waist and buttocks). I rely on a tight belt. This belt stretches too much. If you don't need a tight fit, this is a good buy. But I've stretched it halfway towards my back and it's just starting to tighten the way I want it to.

When they're new they stretch about the right amount, when they get older, about two months older, they start to stretch a lot so you need to do two or three stretches for it to work. Please please make something not quite elastic, it has a good gift of elasticity, but it will be firm for months and years. My last Costco belt lasted five years and I only put it on the shelf because I wanted something new. Pooh

The combination of two belts was perfect. Although both matched, the beige belt was a good 1.5 inches longer than the black. Also, the black belt loop was too tight for the end of the belt to slip through. It's tight enough to be worked on and loosen over time BUT it's annoying not being able to wear the strap out of the box.

Since almost all straps on the Revain website are 1 1/4" wide, I figured that should be the standard for belt loops as well. Every belt was on display. It had to be slipped through the loops, and it required even more wiggling and tugging to get the straps back out. .

They arrived in a nice box with a lid. Nice gesture. Products are often simply pushed into the mailer, which sometimes leads to damage to the products. I had to downsize one. Over the years the straps appear to be true or not true length. Many times I've had a belt that barely had enough "end" to slip under the loop when buckled.
