Very strong and quickly smooths heels. Gentle pressure must be applied as it is so strong that the skin feels rough. Disassemble to clean and rinse with water. I take out a round sponge, rinse it too and dry it thoroughly with a paper towel. Then add a moisturizer to finish.

Finally decided to buy an electric callus remover and quit hand sawing and ended up tired despite the many reviews from people saying they weren't powerful enough . The thing is, they are! Don't expect it to be a woodworking grinder. it should be gentle on your feet but still effective! It took a few minutes (not seconds) and after applying the lotion my feet were like new. I expect to use this maybe a few times a month. Overall very happy with this purchase.

This is a great product and I am very grateful that I found it. I know I have by far the craziest, driest feet any person has ever seen. Since I've been on thyroid meds my feet have just become parched and it's awful and embarrassing. I have tried As Seen on TV products, callus removers, razor blades, scrubs, coconut oil on my feet, socks etc with no success. This callus remover definitely does what it's supposed to do, but it's too strong. With the thinnest file, I shaved off the skin so badly it bled. And there's a trick to using it, the blade will definitely snap when pressure is applied. The way I do it is similar to how I draw single lines. Let's say you have a square, I would press but not too hard and draw a line from side to side and then take it between the lines. Don't go back and forth. So you get pressure everywhere without pressure…

I was so pleased with this item that I immediately picked it up. It came charged which was odd but nice, but no charging cable is included! Further use is therefore not possible. Good product, shoddy execution. Wondering if I have a used one. Sent it back and got a new one, this time it came with a power cord for charging, but you know what? That doesn't match the product!
