Stylish Appearance: Rosettes

Very pleased with the product and design of the worktop rosette for our newly renovated kitchen. I would buy again without hesitation!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Poor

Looks good - rosettes

Looks good. I think the box is a bit smaller than I need because the wires get in the way when lowering the lid. Opening and lowering is definitely a two-handed situation.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Defective opening mechanism

The product has a spring to open the lid. The spring is too weak to open the heavy metal cover. After several uses, you need to open it with a screwdriver or nails.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I don't like it, it's ok

Think twice before you buy

The metal box had no under counter latches. I had to make a mount, you might think, the price of the item, it will come ready to install. Also, any item I plugged into the outlet was very difficult to plug and unplug. I recommend looking for another article.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Almost never

It could be of great importance.

Great price if the socket fits in an electrical box, but unfortunately it doesn't. The hinge tension regulator prevents the socket from sitting securely in the box. It is therefore not possible to provide the box with a socket. Even if it were possible, it could be an undersized junction box, but that's just a guess. This slipped through QC.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Obsolete

Poor electrical equipment design

Looks good after installation but. Problems I've encountered: 1. Can't close box when two 12/2 cables go in - not enough room.2. The top screws don't line up with the open cover - I have to use an offset screwdriver.3. The screws are very cheap quality - I had to replace them after using the driver.4. The thread in the box is not strong enough.5. By design, I can use "slave" sockets." 6. I need to hold the opening handle all the time to fully open and close the outlet.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs

You'll have to figure out your own mounting box.

I used this on an outdoor kitchen island. My island is gated so it's not directly exposed to the elements. I had a seal with me. The mounting box or junction box that came with the kit was universal. You have to come up with your own way of fixing it. I had to drill holes in the side and support from underneath to make sure it wouldn't move. The box is also not a "flush-mounted" box. It should be installed about 1-1-1/4" below the end surface since the tank is deep. I found it difficult to…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No machine
