Works well, but difficult to achieve uniform shrinkage. Needs a lot of heat. In addition, since it is initially flat, it develops ridges where the wrinkles form.

I have used this product to clean electrical cords that run down my risers. Looks great and has a good shrink rate. Will be using this to fix some other suspension issues on my FXR.

I wish I had found this material sooner. If it stretched a little it would be perfect. Indeed, let's make wire harnesses that look great. I was surprised how much they lost weight.

The product does what it was designed to do. The only thing I didn't expect was that it would be so hard after shrinking. Thought it would be more of a felt-like fabric, which would be perfect.

Very good product for tidying up wiring harnesses in the engine compartment. Being a braided sleeve, it will stretch slightly during installation if needed, which can be useful for cleaning some small wire connectors.

This is great stuff to clear up some confusion. The size listed before shrinking is the diameter (round) and not the horizontal width. I've only used it to protect my car's seat belt and it worked perfectly, nice and tight with no chafing. I used a heat gun to shrink, not a hair dryer. I was so impressed that I ordered 3 more sizes.
