X-Box is well suited for projectors and accessories

Punctual, fits, works. Perfect! Be careful when ordering the right lamp, many look the same. Had to send one back before I received this one.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons

I do not recommend. for video projectors and accessories

I have been buying a lamp for my Epson projector for over 10 years but I have never seen a product like this. If installed correctly, the projector could not detect the lamp. So instead of returning it, I threw it away and bought an authentic product from a retail store. It was a waste of time and money.

Pros
  • Perfect fit for me
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Works great with lamps

The lamp fitted with no problems. Great design from Epson. The picture looks great. I can't say anything about the durability of the bulb, since we've only been using it for a few hours, but so far we're satisfied. Revision 11-8-2013. I am giving this product two stars because it just blew up. Moderate use and burned out after nine months. Aggravating.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

It was the right shape and looked like the bulb it replaced

Our Epson 705hd home theater uses an ELPLP54 bulb so we have this bulb. It was the right shape and looked like the lightbulb it replaced, but it was the wrong size, it didn't fit easily into the projector, one of the screws didn't fit, and the cover didn't snap back easily into place. When I turned on the projector, one light came on, then two red lights, and the projector lamp never came on.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some flaws

Brighter than original lamp

Lamp works great in Epson EX71 but is significantly brighter than original lamp. This is normal, but there are areas in video games that are now too dark to see, and movies have weird dark spots that are just too dark to see, causing the brightness to increase and the Contrast needs to be reduced. For the price, it's hard to argue. that you don't get what you pay for. This will be acceptable until it dies, and I decided to upgrade to a 1080p model, but if you need brightness for a dimly lit…

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged

Buyers beware when buying the Epson 705HD Projector

I bought two of these projectors (for the Epson 705HD) because they were "good value for money". The first exploded about 7 hours later - like loose glass exploding in a headlight; I checked the filter, which was a little dirty, and put in a second one. That went on for about 15 hours. My projector has run about 2000 hours on the factory bulb. This may be a case of a "compatible lamp" which may not be standard for that particular projector. Not surprisingly, that was also the opinion of Epson's

Pros
  • Free for Education
Cons
  • Unsure
