This is an original article. Simply remove the tab/cover to reveal the filter and slide it back into place. Did. I'm glad I decided to take it over other suggestions. Some feedback on fit issues prompted me to go with the original part.

I have ordered several of these filters over the past 6 years and they are all great. Easy to install and do what the manufacturer advertises. If I had any complaints it would be that I think they are a bit overpriced. But still a pretty good value.

Simply superb - this is what you should buy for an Electrolux fridge - not quite another option. except like another reviewer - bake "alt" on low heat (200 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 15 minutes - works! I will replace next time the lights come on but I figured if I could get another 3-6 months off the current one it would be worth it!

Disappointed with how the product got so cheap. The old filter I took out was a thick pad of carbon with something inside. The new filter I received was thin paper, like an accordion. with some carbon absorbed into the paper. I had to take a stapler and staple the edges so they went through the cardboard frame before installing. It makes me wonder, selling so cheaply, was it a copy of a genuine Electrolux product made by a third party in another country?

This works well in our Beverage Fridge which we use in addition to our meat and food storage fridge. The cooler maintains a consistent temperature, which we really like for meat. (The space the fridge fits in doesn't allow for a larger fridge.) The filter lasts a year, it just slides out and you put a new one in its place, so it's very easy to install. I have no idea what they mean by taste rating, but it keeps the cooler smell clean.
