I don't think it's 1500 threads as advertised and I don't think it's Egyptian cotton. However, for $22, these are soft and comfortable sheets. I bought the black ones and they have not faded when washed before use. They did not shrink or crack as others have described. And finally, the tag doesn't mention the type of material, which makes me skeptical. Overall not a bad product considering the price. But the brand is misleading if it is not what it advertises.

No Egyptian cotton. When I received them I immediately put them in the washing machine so I could sleep on new and freshly washed sheets. When I got them out of the washing machine, they were already dry. It was a sign that the sheets might not actually be cotton. They are anything but elegant. But they are very soft. They are also very thin and poorly made. I think quality control of the finished product is also lacking. I bought two pairs for our guest bed and one pair looked like the stitching on the pillowcase had been cut with scissors. The edges are badly sewn. The pillowcases do not match the pillows! Update: I've washed them many times, they still produce a lot of fluff and still shed color with each wash. I no longer have to use them because of the amount of dust fibers all over my house.
