Excellent Tachometer for My Vehicle!

The ELING tachometer gauge is an excellent automotive product that I tried out recently. Through trial and error, I found that it was very easy to install and the backlight made it easy to see readings in low light conditions. It's also very accurate and reliable. However, the only con is that it's a bit pricey compared to other tachometers in the market. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this product.

Works perfectly! Easy to install and calibrate.

This is the second one I've bought. The first one was installed on my sailboat about 6 months ago and it's still working. Exposed to the elements 24 hours a day, it still looks new. Note that the built-in digital hour meter only works when the tachometer has power, not just when the engine is running. A 2nd tachometer was ordered for a friend's sailboat where I was installing a new motor. Installation was easy (basic instructions included) and calibrating my diesel engine was a breeze. Can be…

Great Value!

Using this tachometer on a Perkins 4.108 sailboat. The 250-amp aftermarket alternator is off most of the time, so the alternator stator pulse will not work with a stock tachometer. My solution was to install a "hall effect" magnetic sensor on the crankshaft pulley. I used the $20 DIGITEN 4 Digital LED Speedometer, RPM + NPN Red Proximity Hall Sensor which also has a 4 digit accurate digital readout.
