I wanted something I could drink out of almost instantly to spend the morning with the kids getting them ready and taking them to school. My stainless steel travel mugs always stay hot and are great for long trips, but for a regular morning cup of coffee this mug is perfect. It fits comfortably in one hand and in my SUV's cup holder. This travel mug is exactly what I was looking for. My 16 oz Contigo Stainless Steel is great if you want to drink more and are concerned about the temperature. I wanted something smaller that I could fit into my Keurig without removing the drip tray. Since I only use it for commuting to and from the office, the temperature doesn't bother me and I can pop it in the microwave to warm it up if needed.
