They don't work. After covering the entire area with a thick layer of glue and applying a lot of pressure, I was barely able to glue two sheets of paper together. I can't believe how sticky they are. This little product gets exceptionally high ratings and reviews for all reasons. The price is definitely unbeatable, plus free shipping, fast delivery, well packaged. Easy to use and works well, not as small as a baby finger as someone claims, the glue doesn't stick to the paper. I'm glad I made a small but good purchase. My only complaint is that 12 sticks is too much wasted, my money and the environment. Who will usually use them all at home? After a while everything dries up. It is very good

I bought these as an optical illusion. I HATE nailing things down! So I decided to try these glue sticks for gluing quilt pieces etc. together. It will turn purple but the color will not bleed and wash out with washing. I was worried it might cause some problems with my vision, but as long as you don't go crazy with it (which I didn't) it works great!
