I have a German shepherd and I thought she could handle it because she also stands on a hard wooden floor and can't pull. But after making sure it's fully powered on and working properly, he has no problem picking it up.

My little Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix chewed the rope in a day but he still has the ball and loves it! The ball is well built and has enough grip for him despite being bigger than his head! Most balls only last a few weeks but we've had it for a few months now and it's still in great condition!

Bought this toy for my 6 month old half German Shepherd half Labrador Retriever puppy. I underestimated its strength and when I vacuumed the floor (linoleum) IT WAS SUCCESSFUL!
