Easy text editor for quick document edits

I love its simplicity to use as it doesn't have many options or features that are not useful at all! Not much but what's there works great so far. It has been very easy to set up since we're using Ubuntu Linux with our servers (Debian). The documentation would be helpful if you haven't already got access to some good tutorials online. There might also just need more resources available like videos explaining how things work or maybe even an app store where people can download plugins they'll…

Pros
  • Easy, fast
  • Great for quickly writing text files in bulk instead
Cons
  • Nothing here

Very Good Documentation Editor for Windows

The most important thing that I like about this software is its ability to open multiple documents at one time without any problem or error. Also it has very good features such as undo & redo functions which helps me when editing large amount of text. It also provides useful commands like search function etc. Nothing much i dislike from my side but there are few minor issues with performance sometimes. If you want an editor where your can edit many different types of documentations then go…

Pros
  • It is one of the editors which provides you the ability to edit multiple documents at the time
Cons
  • I dislike that it can open multiple documents at a time but it can open the documents very very very very very very very very very

Best bang for your buck in software publishing

This program has all of my favorite features from vim plus tons more that I have yet to discover! It's super easy to use as well (no need to read manuals!). The interface could be much nicer but it isn't too bad either. I've used this product exclusively since 2008 when we started using Linux at work and haven't had any problems with compatibility or anything like that. My only regret would probably be not knowing about other shortcuts until I found out myself after years of being happy typing

Pros
  • Very high customizability
  • Many useful keyboard mappings for quick tasks, particularly common ones in various languages such s Spanish/English Bilingual inputting.
  • Full Unicode support available if you'd rather write your own scripts yourself.
  • Highly configurable syntax highlighting
  • Lots o' builtin goodies including code folding etc., although sadly no native line numbering feature :(
  • Config files can simply reside
