So far, so good. Open today at Christmas. My 3 year old loved the headphones at first: he took them off and now he just listens out loud. As long as he likes it. Just take a look. I really like this product, you can't beat the price. The downsides are that the volume isn't high enough for most movies to be comfortably heard by two kids WITHOUT headphones in the car. The headphones are fine, and some people might even treat them like a pro so their kids don't turn them on too loud and damage their hearing. Better than nothing

This is a handy little DVD player when you need it. We've used it a lot and it's holding up well. Then why 2 stars?!? Because nothing that came with it didn't survive at all. The charger broke after about a month of use. The headphones were used maybe twice before not working at all. And the carrying case is useless because you can't put the player, charger and headphones together.
