Great addition to emergency kit

They match the description and are a compact addition to the emergency kit I am building. Great value for something that increases my safety by having a basic emergency kit on hand.

Great for emergencies!

It was a great price! I've wanted a pair of these for a long time, but it was too good an offer to pass up, so I've got loads of them now! I put most of them in some family emergency bins and also left a few in my car. They take up almost no space and are as good as others I've looked at, so I'm very happy with them. I highly recommend this product. :)

Pros
  • SIZE - Our 54" x 84" Mylar Blanket is large enough to cover all body types. Mylar is thin and folds easily, making the blanket easy to carry or store.
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Must have them for all kinds of emergencies. .

A must for all occasions. Mylar blankets retain most of your body heat. My son took a few before reluctantly going camping after my insistence. The next day he said that thank goodness he had it, the temperature had dropped and his sleeping bag wasn't giving him the warmth he needed. He used thermal blankets and slept very well in the warmth of his camp. His friends have also learned their lesson, they will take these blankets with them for future trips.

I use this instead of the kits they sell.

I use these in summer and winter in place of standard window insulation kits. In summer place the outside of the window frame (cut to size) silver side out, your air conditioner will do very little work and you can see during the day, and in winter place the inside of the window frame silver side in to block drafts avoid. and keeps you warm. For gluing I used DAP sealant and double sided tape - tape inside and out. Tools required: caulk gun and single-edged safety razor.

Pros
  • Emergency Blankets
Cons
  • High Price

It's a mylar blanket, so there's not a lot of love.

We use them in our greenhouses to reflect and retain heat and never realized how much we paid over the years for 10 packs and for the average price of those we paid for those 20 packs got it... for about $10. We also cover seedlings with it at night to keep them warm, but it takes a lot of them to line the inside of the greenhouses for reflection and then put them on top to keep them warm at night. This has proven to be a cost-effective way to reduce the number of heaters and get healthier…
