We installed this fan upstairs in the attic to ventilate the house in warm weather. It's compact, breathable, and fairly easy to install with a 24" ground bar since our ceiling is made of joists. You can change the rotation of the blades. Happy with the purchase.

I bought two of these - well they did their job but the screws that were supposed to come with each box were NOT included. They were even on the list of things included in the instructions, but they weren't there. Our installer had to use white screws and darken them with a marker so they match up a little and doesn't look out of place, even from 18 feet. upset.

The pivot ball on top of the lower shaft is too large to accommodate the remote control module. My installation required the use of the included swivel ball, which is much smaller to leave enough room in the ceiling mount for the module. My ceiling slope was low enough for it to work. I doubt this kit is even needed, but after the mount was installed I decided to finish the project.

Complete design flaw. I don't have a 45 degree pitch. I bought this kit for my Emerson 3-blade 72" wall fan. It wouldn't let the control box fit while the fan was hanging at an angle. that's not an option" - before the electrician was ready to pack up and round it off (I would do it myself hang it up, but the ceiling is too high for my liking), I told him to let it cool for 5 minutes while I went to mine.
