🔆 Eminence SPF 30 Red Currant Protective Moisturizer, 2 fl oz Review

This review is not on the product, it is on the packaging. I've been using Eminence for years and every product I've tried is AMAZING. However, this package arrived damaged. When I took the lid off the container, the inner seal was burned or melted. The whole product smelled. I also hope I'm wrong, but I think it was fake. I have been using Eminence for many years and I swear by it. I love natural ingredients and results on my skin. Instead of Tropical Vanilla Day Cream, I wanted to try something different with SPF, so I ordered Redcurrant. At first it seemed good and had a nice fruity smell, then after about a week the smell seemed to change. Now it has a strong medicinal, almost menthol smell that I hate putting it on my face. I hate sunscreen, especially on my face. My skin is naturally pale, but it was impossible to find a sunscreen that didn't clog my pores. I'm also allergic to many common sunscreen ingredients. It's so beautiful, the scents in all of the Eminence products are wonderful and seem to be enough to protect me from the sun's harmful rays. I wore it while traveling the wastelands and it was perfect.

I first encountered this product at a spa in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This is the only moisturizer I can wear all year round. Before using this I would need to use one in the summer and the other in the rest of the seasons. Glad to have found it here and at a lower price than the spa.

Compared to other skin care products I would call this a "dry moisturizer" because it doesn't feel like any other water or oil when applied feel based products I have used. As soon as I rub it in, it turns into a kind of powder and absorbs into the skin immediately. However, if you apply it over Coconut Age-Corrective Moisturizer, expect it to come off. I'm not sure why this is happening. Make sure to rub it in well, as sometimes you can see white patches on the sides of your face if you don't.

When I need sunscreen and moisturizer, I use blackcurrant. I have a combination of oily and sensitive skin. I'm in my 30's and Eminence's products have helped calm my acne prone skin. I've been using this SPF for over 2 years and it helps keep my skin hydrated without causing irritation or causing acne (when used in combination with other Eminence acne products).
