Good product but not great

I have both this product and the Braun Epic Silk 9. First the description says 'Men Black' the picture is red and the product received is red . This would be a better design if it had light, it needs light to see the hair. Also, the timing of the tweezers is such that they close when the tweezers make contact with the skin. This is good if you don't want them to bite you, but bad for hair removal efficiency. The closing time of the tweezers needs some adjustment as it leaves a lot of hair. The…

Great results compared to using Razor.

I've always used razors and after 6 months with Emjoi I can't go back to Razor. The results last me 10x longer compared to shaving and my skin is actually much smoother. Razor, my hair grows back the next day, with Emjoi about 10 days. Be careful! There is that time of pain. It hurts the first few times! But now I'm used to it. I think because I used a razor my hair was very thick, now my hair has become thinner. Also, I had to switch my shower gel to Neutragena Acne Shower Gel or else I would…

GIRLS DON'T BUY EMJOI EPILATORS

The black version is not even made and is identical to the red one, cheaper, too "girly" for men! The same men who will remove their body hair. For the record, this is a product review, not a hair removal complaint. I've been using epilators for many years, some men might feel pain until they get the hang of it, but this is the best way to get smooth skin for a few weeks; You're also exfoliating, which ends up acting like a massage. And we've all experienced some of the pain that we've…

Fast, fast, saves money on water and spare blades

I love this emoji - I used the 80's emoji for a couple of years and it started to slow down, then the on/off button broke , I thought it was time to get a new one. It's much faster than my old one! Misses almost no hair. Most reviewers don't mention the giant elephants in the room over using a regular shaver or epilator in the shower. This is the main reason I switched to waxing - I couldn't face the thought of wasting all that water on one shave! Not to mention I cut my hair quickly. When you…

Pain is Eminently Best with Epilators

So it should be pretty obvious that pulling hair out of the body hurts. This thing is good at pulling hair out of the body, with a few exceptions: Of course, hair doesn't go out voluntarily. I'm a guy with chest hair and medium length stomach hair. First I cut my hair according to the instructions and tested this article. Let me tell you, this device from hell will give you Tower Syndrome even if you don't have it. Thicker hair will require more than one pass, which means if it hurt the first…

The blowtorch is more effective and a little less painful

These tweezers in this product don't grab the hair well enough. The result is severe pain and very little hair is removed. Also, the hair gets caught under the rotating drums of the tweezers and there is no way to get at it. Given the "No Return" policy, the device is a waste of money. Buyers beware, do business elsewhere. I usually ignore a few downright bad reviews because there will always be people who don't like the product as much as they paid for it. This policy bit my ass this time, you

Big. While it lasted

This is the second epilator I have bought. My first was the Braun Silk Epil which still works to this day but has worn out and doesn't pluck hairs very quickly or effectively, at least compared to this one. The Emoji AP-18MS does the same job about twice as fast. Despite the lack of built-in light, he was great at what he did. as long as it lasted About a month later I noticed an intermittent clicking noise when the engine was running. A few months in it makes this noise all the time. Then, a…

Hairy Male Perspective

Purchased to replace waxing on male lower areas. Reduces complexity compared to wax. It took me about an hour to finish, but I'm quite a hairy guy. Just like growing up, it took a few good passes to clear the area. Irritation was on par with wax. A small red spot appeared around the skin folds but healed quickly without a scab. I was glad to see that the tweezers didn't really pinch the skin, even heavily ridged skin. The level of pain is about the same as wax, but more persistent. It gets…
