Description of Elevate Your Zen Experience with EMOOR Japanese Tatami Mat: Natural Rush Grass, Foldable Twin Size (39x79in), Perfect for Meditation, Yoga, and Floor Futon

Tatami Mattress is Japanese traditional flooring that has been attracting people across the world who have once visited Japan and experience its comfort and soft and smooth texture. We made it compact-sized(you can fold it in four) and affordable prices which allow you to have a similar experience of the feeling and comfort you would or had experienced in Japan just AT YOUR HOME. Our Igusa mattress provides you a comfort when you lay down on it and gives you a sense of you being in "ryokan" with the signature grassy scent the woven rush gives off. Enjoy the feeling of nature. Multiple usages : 1.you can use it as an underlay mattress of Futon which helps your Shikibuton breathe through the Igusa mattress and also work as a buffer in between your Shikibuton and the floor which will reduce the pressure against your body as well. 2. You can use it as a yoga mattress. As it slightly has a cushioning feature that prevents you from hurting your knees and body parts that you would hurt on the floor directly. 3.just lay down on it directly and you will have a great nap!!. It takes a long process to get this product finally on the market. Those painstaking processes are completed by craftmanship.

Nice and Clean - Bedroom Furniture

Although the product came with a slight smell of dry grass, this smell was quickly gone after 2 days. In general everything is clean and tidy.

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • Only Available in Black

VERY beautiful tatami!

Very well made. It is beneficial to sleep on it with traditional Japanese Shikibuton; and the grassy aroma of iguza cane is pleasant. I highly recommend it!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Can hurt

I love it with my Japanese futon floor mattress

The combination of the two is just perfect. I have never slept better, my body has never felt less pain in many years and the quality is excellent. I will never go back to a regular mattress

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Oh! The smell of tatami!

Great mat. I fold it up with my futon every night which gives me an extra room in the apartment. It's also padded (of course). Takes me back to the days when I visited Japan. It's worth it - and the quality is just outstanding.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • No instructions

Excellent product for mattresses

When the box with the mat was opened, there was no chemical smell at all. It smelled of hay and a little earthy. It's fantastic, it's very well done IMHO! Had to return due to sizing issues. Emoor did everything to help me!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • For pensioners

Nice Tatami - Furniture

Not as thick as other tatami mats but still a good tatami for the price. Smells like tatami, feels like tatami, I mean it's tatami! LAUGH OUT LOUD. I suggest if you're looking to save money grab this and the EMOOR futon mattress set with kaki futon.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Nothing here

Not bad price

I use it as a buffer between the floor and the mattress to air the mattress and slide the mattress in and out easily from under the bed frame (my wife and dog fetch the bed, I sleep on the floor. No hard feelings because they both share an awful bed with lol). It's thin so not a real tatami so I think it's overpriced but it does the job.

Pros
  • Great choice
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Tatami mat folds easily for small apartments

I bought a tatami mat as a fan and dust cover for a Japanese futon that I have been sleeping on since the 16th of last month. Living in a small New York apartment, space is limited, so when it comes to storage, I appreciate how easy the tatami folds up. or wearing socks on the mat, which involves light sweeping, which helps increase overall life.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Annoys
